I was born in Fort Worth, Texas at John Peter Smith Hospital in 1965. I grew up in the Stop Six and Polytechic sections of Fort Worth, and lived there until my mother’s death in 1978. My Father died of cancer in 1977 at 59 years of age. The story of his life is worthy of a blog in and of itself, which may be a later project.
Growing up, I was what you would call an ‘adventurer’. I found more ways to get into trouble than even the most ardent hell-raiser of a child. The stories that I have told over the years have brought much laughter and disbelief, and I thought I would chronicle these stories so the my children will know them, and possibly learn from my mistakes, before the fog of time takes away the crisp, sharp details.
This is the story of the first and most formidable years of my life. I believe that each so-called adventure helped build the traits of my character – the stubborn bullheadedness, honesty, integrity and work ethic, all traits of my father.
I hope you enjoy the stories!

I visited your blog and I was wondering if I can recommend it. Although ours is not a humor website, we can all use a good laugh in this world where there are a lot of things not to laugh about. I am sure my visitors would appreciate websites like yours. Let me know if this is ok. Thanks for your time and take care.
